Abstract

This book addresses itself to some of the psychological aspects of human behavior that are reflected in teaching, learning, and growth. It focuses on ideas, research findings, issues, theories, and different points of view about such things as growth processes and self-concept changes that occur over time, about constitutes good or effective teaching, about what learning is, how it occurs, and how to enhance achievement outcomes, and about the social psychology of group behavior and classroom discipline.

This book makes deliberate effort to focus on the human meanings, human understandings, and human experiences involved in growth, teaching, and learning.
