Abstract
'Missionary Teachers as Agents of Colonialism' is a well-researched work in which missionary teachers and their education are potrayed as having been instrumental in destroying indigenous African values and preparing African minds for the smooth reception of colonial values thus paving way for complete colonisation. A startling revelation of the collaboration between European imperial trading companies and colonialists, and the missionaries, in entrecnhing political, economic and cultural imperialism in Uganda using education and Christianity as tools is made.
This book discusses on how missionaries in Uganda contributed to colonialism and imperialism.
Recommended for students and lecturers.
