Its overall aim is to contextualize and address social issues and special need within the wider quest for quality education for all. The book deals with a framework of understanding, the challenge of development in schools, classroom, and community. It also discusses the challenge of addressing social issues in education, and finally the challenge of addressing individual disabilities and difficulties in learning.
