Abstract
This book covers a wide range of topics relevant to children's development and classroom learning. The various psychological theories are outlined and their application to education shown, and the book gives a balanced picture of recent and earlier contributions to the study of educational psychology. It postulates motivation, human ability and their measurement, personality and its measurement, and observing and attending. It also outlines imagery and thinking, maturation, learning, remembering and forgetting, and transfer of learning.
