Abstract

The second edition of 'Mastering Psychology' begins by covering aspects of the developing individual from infancy to old age. This gives the reader an overview of the social and emotional development of individuals. It further discusses facets of behaviour that may be understood regarding the structure of the individual person, such as perception, attention, memory and intelligence. It also looks at intellectual ability from developmental perspective as well as comparative psychology. Biological bases of human behaviour, applied psychology and lastly, practical aspects of psychology which deal with research metods are discussed.
