Abstract

The third edition of 'Cognition: Exploring the Science of the Mind' seeks to convey why research on cognition is important. It highlights the relationship between theory and evidence in this domain, and discusses the logic on which the field of cognitive psychology is built. It also offers a brief introduction to the study of the brain. The book also offers a broad assessment of human memory and the practical consequences of memory research.
